Morning all/afties Pat - I love a flannelette sheet too
Frost here but sun and now 3 degrees. Looking good. Ground is solid but I hope to get something done outside later. Walk tomorrow as I'll be up early anyway. BL - sadly, beautiful Glen Etive is now being ruined by people who have no idea how to behave. It's because they filmed part of a James Bond film there and now the world and his wife have descended on it to dump their cr*p. I couldn't believe what it was like last year and then I read about the reason. There's even a campaign now - Glen Etive, the Dirty Truth to try and resolve it. People are disgusting
Have a great day chicky and BL
I've got the Ireland prog recording. First part was gorgeous. Did anyone see the Yorkshire Dales one? It was the same format as the Loch Lomond and Cairngorms ones - even had the lovely dippers
Washing's on - lovely day for it. I now need more tea and a catch up on here.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Nearly 9 hours of sleep last night - no snoring - so feeling good. Bit late now but I hope you have a good trip Busy and Chicky - your programme for the day sounds wonderful. Enjoy.
It is cool here and cloudy but with a bright sun pouring thru gaps. Set to get very sunny and warm later. Saw the Ireland programme and thoroughly enjoyed it. Since the morning is set to be clouudy spells I might just go and do some naughty shopping - HRT, Troc and paint - so I can enjoy the sunshine later in the garden and walking the dogs.
More coffee first. Enjoy your day folks.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Morning all, beautiful day here, not a cloud in the sky and going to be like it all day (and warm).
Hope I can get out for a bit as lots to do! Probably not as my wife is working so I have the three kids with two more turning up for a play this aft'... 5:1 ratio is going to need full attention ?.
Joyce enjoyed friends. Company is always good I agree with you and Fairy that the hills round here are not a majestic but they are very calming and we have some loveky walks. St Marys loch Talla reservoir Dalveen Pass are some of my favourites.
Faiey enjoy your walk we get so angey at the fly tipping around here
Hello Andy, sounds like you are in for a busy day!

I'd like to tidy the edges of the front grass and apply some weed and feed once the frost's gone, but I don't really want to walk on it for long. It would be a good chance to do it as the ground's damp and I could get all the moss shunted. Lots of blossom on the boundary hedge which is lovely.

Visitors after lunch so will do some weeding in bed between gate and front door
BL, Taynuilt hasn't changed too much over all the years.

Forgive typos. Am using my phone

I'm feeling rather dated. We've just finished dinner - roast turkey wings, potato, pumpkin, and gravy.
Had a phone call - our usual visitor is coming around shortly. Hubby put her off for 10 minutes to give us time to finish.
Sigh!
I've just read what I typed. I'm feeling sated, not dated.
Andy - glad I'm past all that malarkey
A tidy frontage is what I aim for Joyce....
