Morningimage Did the rain arrive Pat ????

Drove to Birmingham and back yesterday for the last prospective Uni visit ......littlest Chicklet loved it ......think the die might be about to be cast ???.  Now its the small matter of getting the grades - another spring/summer of hard graft coming up imageimage

Met up with the group of friends I go garden visiting with ....this year's September excursion will be to Giverny !  Very excited image

We've got light rain. Not game to do a jig yet, but I'm hoping it'll keep,up. The forecast WAS for rain east of the Great Dividing Range, so I can't complain when it's stuck on the range and not quite reaching us just west of it. image

We crossed Chicky, so I've answered your question. I must say the Giverney visit sounds like a wonderful choice. I've seen it many times on TV, but it must be overwhelming live.

Those clouds look like they were going to deliver more than drizzle image.  Guess it all gets confused with a mountain range in the wayimage

Morning all/afties Pat - have you got your brolly up yet? image

I'm enjoying this lovely cold, frosty spell as it's DRY -  well, apart from the hail showers!  Unfortunately not to last - typical. I was hoping it  would be favourable for the weekend too LG, but the snow's coming back for then.  It's been great weather to walk  all week  image

Can you keep your digits crossed for me Pat? image

That's a nice trip to look forward to chicky. Make sure the camera's charged up image

I didn't get round to the pancakes Obelixx - fluffy, light - or in any way shape or form. It does sound like they're the same or similar.

Slept for Britain last night after the few hours the previous one.

I'll have a quick look round here befroe I head off. Have a great day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Up early for me today.  Dressed and on parade.   Normally I get juice and coffee and lie reading and cuddling kittens for a while but today we have 3 carpenters and 2 electricians here to play.  The second electrician is also a plumber and he's here installing a real sink in the pantry/scullery.

It's fine and sunny so far but set to cloud over later.  We had nearly 2cm of rain yesterday and it ahs all soaked in.   Need to hasten with the wisteria pruning but there are now vans in the way.

Glad you have some drizzle Pat and hope it turns into rain.  Chicky - good luck to Chicklet for getting her grades and choice of university.  LG - good to see you again.  Hope you get some dry weather soon.

    Greetings everyone.

Hmm ... A bright start has transmogrified into quite heavy rain ... So it's an indoor morning at least ...

    Morning all.

Looks as though it will be a nice day so rose pruning is on the agenda.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
