Coffee for me but would really love a biccy, Dove. We're giving the French dishwasher the boot if you need to borrow it.
I have painted the wall opposite the window in the kitchen. Fingers crossed it dries well and doesn't need a 3rd coat cos the chalky blue on the L does. Bums. Could have done it this pm but decided to go and cut the grass at the front and thus save the crocuses and cyclamen.
To my great delight, the tatty shrub that has been sprouting fat fluffy looking leaf shoots has grown on and is looking like it might be a tree peony. Never managed to keep one of those thru a Belgian winter so fingers crossed it is.
Must clear up and clean the dining room/camping kitchen and then get a shower before dinner.
Well done to all who've managed some gardening today. It does perk up the spirits doesn't it?

Count me in on the biscuits Dove, I'm desperate for 'something nice' could just do with a big block of chocolate. Happy to grab a tea towel and dry.
Been busy in the garden today removing two clematis that haven't done well. Might have a look at some plant porn to get some ideas re replacements.
Going to pick up new glasses tomorrow. Can't wait to get rid of current pair they just wont stop on and keep ending up in planting holes in the garden. I'm suprised I haven't covered them up before now.
Hello all. We've arrived in Norfolk. Flew from Bordeaux to Luton, bit longer in the car each way than Bergerac to Stansted, but not a bad journey. Stopped in a pub for a light lunch on the way and at Sainsbury's to stock up.
I read back but memory has gone so I'all just say I hope the unwell ones will feel better soon and the ones with troubles will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to all those who wished us a good journey.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Glad you've arrived safely. Sounds like a good journey on the whole.
OH is back from walkies and watching rugby so I can't speak to him about my plans for the patch of grass that is mostly moss at our lowest and southern end of the entrance. Crying out to be dug over, improved with compost and filled with hostas and snowdrops as it is shaded by shrubs along the boundary.
Yvie - my reading glasses fall off my face too when I'm leaning over doing things like sowing seeds. Very frustrating. Hope your new pair does the trick.

Bless you Lyn. Pop round some time soon for a cuppa and a natter. It'd be great to catch up. x

Your a good egg Liriodendron. Dove, surely you get immunity if you have baked as well as made all the cuppas?!
