Hope your visitor doesn't outstay the welcome. Do you think she just doesn't get it?
You snuck in there LP. On a day like this - any walk is good. Take a look at that site re the mess - it's eye watering. So are some of the comments. No wonder.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'm off out on an unexpected trip through the Forest of Bowland, to accompany OH to a choir festival thingy. Would have liked to garden, but there's always tomorrow...
See you later!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Mornin' all. Just had 72 bags of manure & compost delivered on the front drive so I think that's my work for today sorted! At least I'll fall asleep early tonight so shouldn't miss the hour when the clocks go forward but it will be great to have an hour in the garden every evening when I get home from work.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Pat, I have been told that nothing will happen next door this year. that means we have all this year to do cuttings, potting up, etc.
EDD, sorry but we already have a 3 bed house. I'm looking for a big bungalow in a fair amount of land. The scuba gear is going with us. Anyhow I will need it for our next expedition to North Sulawesi this October.
My friend in Australia is selling up and coming back in May. She will housesit for us , and help me with the garden this year until she finds a place to buy here. Her three kids are all spread about in USA now, but moving there is not really a good idea, cost of healthcare etc for us oldies. Its easier for her to live here and then visit USA.
Morning all, afternoon Pat, glorious sunshine streaming through the kitchen window, Harrie the rescue cat has, being in a helpful mood, taken down the net curtain in order to see the sun better and to highlight the point that she would like to go outside! a day of taking things to the tip today. Yesterday I measured and layer my greenhouse base, took down my rose arch, moved my Montana to the pergola and told it to jolly well survive! then finally, took down the bamboo fence along the terrace. Now I have a junk yard by my gate and it needs loading into the back of the car and getting rid off!
Sparing a thought for Hosta, working in sunshine! but remember, there is always someone worse off than you, Andy......REALLY, good luck with those five kids!
its hard not to want to get out there and make it pretty when the sun is shining so beautifully! But I seem to loose momentum when it comes to clearing up the trail of destruction! pictures are going to looks a bit of a site until its cleared though so off to the trip I go! Once I've unloaded the scarifier from the car to make room!

LB Ayr beach and river Ayr behind the house are my level for a walk now.
That made me chuckle Pat
Think I'm in the latter category though...

Don't forget to collect seeds too Fidget. Good luck with the house and garden hunting and all the cuttings and division.
Liri - Bowland is a beautiful area. Enjoy.
Pat - your husband needs to think faster on his feet. He should have said you're just sitting down to dinner. Give us an hour.
OK. Coffee drunk, time to gather in the kittens and go and be naughty in shops.

You are making good progress.

hope you have some sunshine there!
