LP- I think it may be a little chilly when I get up tomorrow! I'll look those clems up.I have a wishlist on one of the sites
Glad you got a seat outdoors Joyce - perfect for it. Hills will be busy right enough. I'm hoping some kind soul will have been on Meall nan Eun today and will have cut some nice steps in the snow for me
There may also be a bumsliding opportunity...
Those will be the folk who look like lobsters tomorrow Hosta!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
More of the new border dug over and some old perennials lifted and divided to fill some spaces when I start planting it up.
Fairy - hope you enjoy your walk tomorrow. Those pictures from Glen Etive are awful. What sort of mentality makes people think it's ok to behave like that?
Those pasties look very good Dove - could fancy one for my tea but we're having pizza - yum.
It's been a glorious sunny day here but the wind has been very cool. Have just popped my tomato seedlings back into the propagator for a bit of extra protection tonight - temperature was down to 0.2C last night. That's not great for tomatoes.
Buying clematis sounds good - I need to finalise which ones I want this weekend. Also need to sort out a couple more shrubs but I'm having my usual block when it comes to visualising fully grown plants. It'll get sorted one way or another though.
Time to clean up and mix a G&T
Don't forget to put your clocks back tonight
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I'm not doing toms this year as I don't have the growhouse any more, and I've done a cold frame instead! I'll need to have a think about a new spot for a greenhouse of some kind though. I do like my home grown toms and they can't grow outdoors here. I'm nowhere near making a decision about clems.
Can't tell you how angry and upset it makes me when I look at that site. I'm hoping it'll be too cold for any tw*ts to be there early tomorrow.
Enjoy your G&T

Well, LazyB that I am, I swept up all the leaves under the top oak, and filled a builders bag. I emptied the leaf mould bag from three years ago into small compost bags, so easier to move around. Then I dug up Roscoea cangshanensis and made 9 new plants, after some time extracting the octopus roots from each other. Then I had a bath. Of course at that point someone decided to bang on the front door. Wrapped in a towel, there is a man enquiring about a table for sale. Wrong house. Humph.
Curry for tea, trifle for pudding.
Don't forget Mothers day tomorrow. Lie ins allowed.

Or windburn Hosta!
You're probably right I expect there would be a coastal breeze too
I think Scotland had the highest temps today. It was around 18 or 19 in bonny Aboyne.
