    Well said Dove and Liri.

This thread is a great source of friendship, support and fun for me.

That is why I start to get angry when the same people, who rarely post on the thread, and who have previously been banned from the site for their trouble making, suddenly appear trying to cause trouble.

I wish that I could be like Hosta and use the ignore button, but sadly I don't have his self control.

Love and hugs to all and get out in the garden.

How can you lie there and think of England

Liri, is it this month that you are off to do some construction work on 'your' island?

    Sunny again but cold.

Pdoc, image  I think if you can't Ignore with a big 'I' then you just have to ignore with a small one image  That's what I try to do.

Sun's still here Doveimage - perhaps it's just having a rest in Norfolk. Weather forecast is good for youimage

Am half tempted to wrap up warmly and start moving that pile of compost which has been looking at me since November and now has stuff growing on it... Sensible head is telling me that's probably a bit too much like hard work at the moment.

Perhaps there are some lighter tasks to attend to for a couple of hours. Then I can come in and wallow in a hot bath before watching another black and white movie in front of the fire (like I did yesterday) without feeling too guilty.

I do a lot of Ignoring with a small "i". Only a couple of people on this forum who are guaranteed to push my buttons but I'm too nosy to not want to see what sort of egotistical rubbish they've been spouting this time.

Fortunately none of them post on Forkersimage

Joyce - yes, I'm off to the island on 16th for five days, bearing (not literally, it weighs 25Kg!) a build-it-yourself plastic storage shed thingy and a triple-recycling-bag holder for inside it.  Getting stuff from Homebase in Oban to the ferry will be fun, though I intend taking a folding sack barrow with me; and the island taxi driver assures me it will fit in his land rover...

The reviews of the storage shed thing suggest that the manufacturer's estimated building time (one man, 2 hours) is somewhat optimistic.  We shall see!  image

Meant to say... Dove, given sufficient notice to book a cheap train ticket, I'd love to join a Kew trip!

We've been watching Michael Portillo in Switzerland and the Masterchef Prpfessionals. Pretty good viewing. I've tried to type professionals three times and this is my last attempt. - just as well it worked. Grrr!
