    Morning everyone,

chicky I would be thrilled to be told I needed to lose a couple of pounds, at least a stone in my case, glad all went well. Are we allowed to ask what you do? I have a vision of a lady in uniform?

morning Dove cold but just a smattering of snow on the hill here but I fear it is still to come. There is an azalea I may still have time to get covered

The view from my bedroom at 7am. Not sure the weather ladies can really call that 'showers'  image

I wonder if Liri will get back to the mainland today.

Glad it went well chicky. I'm sure you never have a few extra pounds anywhere.

Hope you're  better today Obelixx -very unpleasant. Youngest hasn't been very well the last couple of days, although she's still been at work.  She'll make a remarkable recovery for tonight as the two of hem are oging to see Russell Howard in Glasgow.

doc- it's all been said. Rise above them and it'll all be fine.  That ignore button's a marvellous invention. Snow's coming your way tomorrow so you can get out and make a snowman instead.

I'm off for a look round before I shovel white stuff off the car and try and get to work!

    Have a good day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been on line all day, so I missed Edd, Fairy's lovely black and white photo and other people posting.

Im finding it hard to get used to having lovely rain. Wanted to stay in bed this morning. We got 24mm overnight, so the dams might get some wet stuff in them at last.  Last night was very loud with thunder and spectacular with lightning. We lost our TV signal a couple of times, but it came back each time.

Well  not filling, but at least the bottoms of them are not dry and cracked mud anymore.

    Morning all.

We got off with heavy hail showers and strong winds during the night.  Bright and sunny now.
