Thanks Obelixx - it's interesting to see what you're working with. That's quite a lot of land (and a lovely looking house). I look forward to seeing progress photos as the year goes by!

My Raynauds is very mild and intermittent and is only ever a couple of random fingers, which always looks a bit strange. It doesn't even seem to be directly related to cold, although they go icy when they're affected. My daughter gets it a bit worse than me, but still not too badly - more fingers and it lasts longer. I read that it's very common in adolescence so I'm hoping it might ease a bit as she grows up. Thats a horrible story, Hosta. Ewww.

    Night night all.

Morning everyone. Well the forecast was fairly correct. We reached 39.something today according to Hubby's weather station. More tomorrow I hear.

    Morning all.

Another Raynaulds sufferer here. Although since going on the FODMAP diet and finding what was essentially not working for my body it is so much better.

I use nitrile gloves under my normal gloves (I always go to pony places to get gloves and socks; they seem to have much harder wearing varieties) and double socks.

Last night's efforts with the snow don't seem to have amounted to much; it's still trying so there will be more skittish children at the museum but I don't think we have to go onto our alert mode just yet.

    Morning Clari. Afternoon Pat

Slept from before 9pm but sleeping is definitely a help in getting clear of this 'flu'. I hope you are having lots of sleep Pdoc.

Morning all/afties Pat- you'll almost be glad when autumn and winter arrive! Phewww....

Hopefully your symptoms might also improve a little when you have some heating Clari...image

You're almost there - and not before time image

Do you (and LG) ever usegood winter walking gloveswhen you're out and about? They're designed to cope with long periods at well below zero and you still have mobility in them. Silk liners are the usual extra. Ski/climbing gloves are a bit rigid, but fine if you don't have to footer with anything. Perhaps those would help when you're indoors!  image

Glad you're on the mend now Joyce. Weather looks not bad for tomorrow. Plenty of snow everywhere too  image

Hope you're a little more chipper today too Dove image

We're just hovering around zero here. Cloud's come in, but it was a bit sparkly earlier when I opened curtains. Didn't cover the car but I think I've got away with it....image

Have a good day everyone - keep cosy if you can, and keep cool Pat image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Morning all.

Chilly , but not frosty out. Same cold wind. More mulching beckons.

We started watching the new , remake, of Roots last night, but found it all too depressing and gruesome, so we went back to First Dates Hotel which was a far nicer, happier , feel good watch.

    Almost the weekend folks.

    Hi all.

    Snowing and freezing cold here.

Rib is causing major pain, probably because I keep coughing, at least it has got me out of SM shopping. Feel a bit guilty as OH is doing everything for me, except leaving something for my lunch!
