I was pleased to read Lily P's good news about her baby grandson.

Went to the SM for more supplies after the meeting in Bergerac (over an hour's drive away) as 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren will be coming to stay for a couple of days tomorrow.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • It's quiet on here....

Feeling a little sorry for myself here.  Today I had a steroid injection in a stuck finger joint, and now my hand is aching.  The finger joint is still sticking, but I guess I just need to be patient and wait for the inflammation to reduce.

Your fig tree looks beautiful, Dove, in that big terracotta pot in front of the gorgeously coloured fence.  image

  • That sounds lovely, Wonky.  Hope it lifts your mood a bit...  I haven't got a lot to complain about really, just the hand - but thanks so much for your sympathy!

Can't get down as far as Ixworth, I'm afraid, but I'll look forward to the photos.  image

Hi everyone. Best wishes to Lirio with the finger joint problem. Sounds very uncomfortable.

Lilyp, glad little one is improving. I hadn't realised that he was still in hospital. I thought he only had an overnight when you posted some time ago.

Frank, you made me laugh. ?

Hope the rest of you are feeling good. I'm off to town shortly for the weekly grocery top up.

Catch you all later. Sleep well.

A storm seems to have hit Yorkshire. My bins are on the move! Fortunately tonight was dog food preparation night (due to Reggie being delicate in the stomach department just like myself I hand make all his meals and treats) so Reggie helped taste test and has eaten himself into a food coma and is completely unaware of anything around him.

Also; poor Verdun! He's come back just in time to celebrate his 100 years since the Germans picked on him.
