Wonky - I'm so sorry it hasn't worked out.  What a  bummer and not comfortable for OH I should think, even without the prang.  Hope he's OK.

Hope job hunting goes well and, in the meantime, enjoy the extra time you can spend getting your garden ship shape for spring and cuddling Flatters.

    Morning all.

Saw the NZ fire on TV this morning, horrendous. Also that Vitamin D may help prevent colds, Waitrose is customer friendly (well, I knew that already) and that the C of E is gradually coming round to gay marriages in church. I'm on an ecumenical committee here in France, representing the Anglicans in our bit of Dordogne and I think I was the only one who approved of gay marriages, Jesus didn't discriminate and nor should we.

Going to SM this morning and dentist son this afternoon to have new crown fitted. Though I'm quite fond of my temporary one, it's very comfortable.

Wonky, I'm sorry about your job too, I hadn't realised. Hope you find an even better one soon. Hugs.

At least you know the bosses will give you a brilliant reference and will take you back like a shot if they can sort the current problem out - meanwhile I know you're doing all that you can ((hugs)) xxx

    Morning allimage

Lovely sunny day here so I shall be pruning fruit bushes and tidying the woodland border to expose the emerging bulbs.

So sorry to hear about the job and car Wonky. Don't worry about putting on a brave face for us - just come & chat when you need a hug. Hope something turns up soon. Any idea what you're looking for in case I hear of something?

So sorry to hear your news WW., you certainly deserve a bit of luck.

Sunny first thing, so I got togged up for a garden session, unfortunately the sun must have seen me and it is now raining.

I really am struggling to understand what the Church is doing, I was sure it was supposed to welcome all.

Topbird, thanks :) I've got an interview next Tuesday there are a couple of different positions at a garden nursery, nice one in the sticks. But other than that I'm looking at sales admin, reception, customer services...I hate it but there aren't many gardening jobs. Trying to build up the self employed stuff with my mate on the gardening round. Too proud to sign on!

  • Hello all.

So sorry about the job, Wonky, and the car - hope for better news soon.  You're right, you deserve a bit of luck for a change!  xx

It's good to see common sense prevailing in the Church of England, for a change.  :-)

The sun is shining so we're about to extend the 5 min walk to the market by an hour, walking up the valley side past the golf course, then dropping down into the town.  Better get going - rain is forecast for later.

See you later  - enjoy whatever you're up to!
