    Morning all.

Our little red squirrels are still hibernating. Doesn't look such a nice day as yesterday. Log man is pruning the apple trees, I'm a wimp about going up ladders.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Pinch punch first of the month!  Where did January go?!

    Hope you're all well.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Hi all.

Well at least it is dry today, but garden too wet to do anything.

Heard a Song Thrush singing as I got up today, lovely.

It is my Mum's 90th. soon, and 2 sisters, Mum and I, will all be getting together. One of my nieces is 13 and I have not seen her since she started school. As you can see, we are not the closest family, so I am really looking forward to it.

You will have to take a longer holiday next winter Hosta.

    Have a good day.

How can you lie there and think of England

Morning all - happy new month!

Grey here too, but DRY and mild, so I'll be donning my fluorescent tabard and making a spectacle of myself in the town, pruning the apple trees.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Good morning Pdoc image  Lovely to hear a songthrush in the morning.

I don't think Hosta should be allowed to have holidays - it seems to cause trouble and mayhem wherever he goes  ............... I'll get my coat .................
