Good morning all. Good hard frost here and probably not the first as I didn't even bother to bother the 1st of January flower count. Nothing...and most of that is dead!

Now take a good long look at your interior decor, your spare tyres and your OH!!!!!! image

The spare tyres are alas useful; they're our summer tyres for the cars! I've dropped a couple of hints about that overly large shed (proper timber construction variety that you would choke if you knew how much he spent on it) of his. They might make it out there today.

They're certainly not going in my shed however. I know where that would lead; we'd turn around to find the whole room filled with his over flow. I claimed that room as my retreat when he claimed the shed as his. If I loose it where will I be able to hide things?

    Morning  all from sunny Hampshire.

Trip up was a bit poo. 1.5miles from home and I realised I'd left my iPod at home. Hubby turned round and went back for it. It rained the whole 200  miles here but traffic wasn't too heavy.

I've now realised I haven't brought a coat with me. image Might be a bit chilly when we get back to Gatwick in 4 weeks.

Our friends only came back from Mexico 3 days ago so are still jetlagged and asleep. Hubby still in bed, even the cat's asleep.

Quiet day here with just one old neighbour to visit . Early night and up at 3am to head to Gatwick.

DD I'll bet , this time next year, you'll be astounded and proud of what you've achieved in 2017. We all have faith in you. Love to you and Charlie.

    Hope all hangovers have gone.

    Devon.

Sorry Fairy. Still at MILs - not really a croissant sort of house. Brekkers will be toast and/or porridge here today ... You lot will have to fend for yourselves image

Hosta - I thought you'd already 'gone'. Have a lovely break. Never mind the coat - you'll be fine. You'll be sweating thinking about all the work you'll have to do in the garden when you get back  image

Just have to have porridge as usual then Dove...image

Fairy we drove up here yesterday to spend a couple of days with friends before holiday tomorrow. They're moving to Derbyshire this month so we wanted to see them before they go.

That's nice Hosta. Pity they're not moving nearer to you though. Was it something you said? image

Pp - the wet cold is far worth than frost isn't it? We had a good spell of frost and dry cold in November - the whole month was fantastic. No cold wind either. I was just getting used to it and kidding myself that we might be getting some 'southern England' weather for the winter  image
