Talking of eight spare tyres I have committed myself to joining a slimming club this week. Clari, wherever it is, a tumble dryer will make such a difference. I couldn't be without mine as I have two loads of washing a day and more when dog towels need doing.
Beautiful pic Fairy. Maybe it was me who said the wind had died down (the turkey and sprouts are all finished) but I noticed it got a bit breezy again by lunchtime. Glad you didn't get blown away. Chicky your walk probably would have suited me better without the steep hills
GWRS you had a good day then with your team's win.
It's been a nice 'first' today, just chilling, and tomorrow we're at sil's. Yay no cooking.
Hi Flumpy. Yes I enjoy it, but I'm a bit disgusted with Foxtel for repeating episodes which are really out of date. Do you remember when Monty started building a dog shaped plant to look like Nigel? I've seen episodes since which were at least 1-2 years later. Never mind it's always interesting. (Cheap Skates).
Our frost doesn't seem to have really arrived Joyce. Sometimes gets more obvious and heavier as it gets lighter, although cars look a bit frosted. I'll feed the birds shortly and see what it's like. I have a fwe things to do outside if it;s warm enough, and still plenty of painting indoors to get on with. A lot of new doors and woodwork.....
Clari - it's a small step in the right direction, but does your OH realise this is the 21st century? Indoor plumbing and central heating - it's a marvellous invention
Couldn't even blame the sprouts Lesley - didn't have them
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Clari, just a thought, but perhaps if the eight spare tyres were swapped to the shed?

Good morning all
The house is quiet - I'm the only one awake ... There are field fares chattering in the churchyard
