We watch Sherlock too, but it'll be recorded anyway - fairylets are fans, and they may not get to see it as they're at their Dad's till tomorrow. I've watched very little of the stuff  I've recorded. Jeremiah Johnson was on when I got home today - lovely Robert Redford image

    EXCITEMENT!

I'm allowed a tumble dryer (if it fits in my shed). To imagine when I was little that this would be considered exciting.

Of course it means quite the jig around but how lovely to have a warmer potting shed ;)

I've had the same excitement over plug sockets Clari.  A few years ago, after much nagging about installing some extras in the living room, only to be met with a shrug and a "Maybe" from Mr K imageI got fed up and called out a sparks for a free written quote ££££image

Within a week he'd been down to wickes, lifted the floorboards and installed my shiny new double socketsimage?

Get the dryer in the kitchen, household appliances aren't made for outbuildings. It will be bust before you know it if the electrics get damp. Tell him it will need repair or replacing before its time. The pound signs might change his mind ££££image

Kitty - it was an outside socket and an extra outside tap that made my life a lot easier.

Clari - you don't want to be walking to and from the potting shed in the rain with washing. If it can't fit into the kitchen, how about a spare bedroom?

It will be installed in our outbuilding; the neighbours have theirs in their same building and it seems to work just fine. Of course while the electrics are being sorted (I already have running water) a small frost heater might be sneaked in to help keep the electrics / any soft seedlings in the windowsills safe.

Shed perhaps is a too simple a term; junk room perhaps? ;)

There's no room in the kitchen and we're living in the spare room so it'll not be coming in here!

Joyce; our downstairs loo is outside I'm well versed in puddle jumping and if it means not having to spend all week trying to dry clothes on our two radiators (1hr of heating a day) I will keep my wellies by the door!

Ah, a proper room then, sounds good for a utility space.

I was imagining shiplap walls and a felt roof at the bottom of the garden when you said potting shed image

    I'll get my coat image
