Busy - you should send OH to the SM.  I did this morning since he was off to the tax office anyway and he's now headed for the car registration office so will run another errand for me.  I am staying tucked up indoors with toe, kittens and dogs and catching up on correspondence.   Great fun except for some fraudsters trying to get past my malware and adblocker.

    Possum is 22 today.   Yikes!

Hope all are well or improving and keeping warm and safe.

Obelixx, what is a "toe kitten"? The mind boggles.

Back on line with my third iPad Apple Air 2. The first a year old went blanc, no not the Monte just black. Sent back under guarantee J Lewis lost it. Sent me brand new upgrade 128gb as against 65gb plus some money back. The earphone socket would not work, we tried every set in the house nothing. It went back to J Lewis, they have now sent me another iPad Air 2  128gb and sent me the postage as well, I am not telling them they collected it? They also sent me a new two year guarantee so what is not to like. I still had my Apple mac pro to play with though for some reason it will not let me sign in to GW, not to worry I now have this and it is the first message. So the old man is back to chivvy you all on idle gardening, a good garden is hard work always was and always will be, are we who love it masochists I ask?

    Frank.

Good to see you Frank/Dad - hope the new device keeps you in touch now image

I expect we are slightly masochistic, but there again, the reason you're still very active and 'together'  is probably largely down to the garden. Having something to plan, and then doing the work, is vital for keeping up your spirits as well as your health. I reckon anyway!

Hope you have a nice cake for her Obelixx....image image

Minus 10 BL - that's a decent frost. When we get minus 1 or 2, it barely registers. We just appreciate those days, 'cos it's not pouring and blowing a hooly at the same time and making it miserably cold! imageKeep cosy and get well - do you get longlife milk there? It would save you going out. I keep a carton handy as I use so much milk. image

We're to get a bit of frost tonight Joyce, and now looking pretty good for tomorrow in the west, as the hill fog and mist is mainly today/tonight and it's to be frosty and clearer. Eggscellent....I'm rubbing hands together a la Mr Burns image

Glad you're enjoying the njob Wonks. Make sure to get some time for yourself too image

Good to see you back safely Hosta. Yikes  - you know how to holiday....image image image

Steve/vet posted recently, but we haven't seen Bushman. I think he's combining New Year with Burns Night next week and just making a month of it  image  We're not sure about doc...image

The weekend's pretty much here folks - hurray image

Toe (as in broken) apostrophe kittens and dogs Frank!  You must be pleased to be sorted at last.

Hi Fairygirl Daughter, hope you do not BURNS the candle at both ends. I did hear someone had made a Vegan Haggis?? We will stick to the original with a drop of Highland Dew.

Pat it took time but the guarantee was solid gold, a better iPad and money back, they earned my respect, they also sold me the Apple mac pro with three year guarantee, better than some tech stores. It was free.

The joy of gardening is the planning for the years ahead and watching it happen. It is hard work though my old Dad would say do it properly that is the correct way, there are easy ways which mean hard work at a later date.

Listening to music on my expensive headphone, the family all chipped in for Christmas, the ones I had were cheapo's, now the difference is dramatic. La Paloma, Paul on Chromatic keybourd, that brings back memories.

    Frank.

    Happy Birthday Possum.

Hello Frank, good to have you back.

I went to the SM, actually I quite enjoy it and OH did any lifting and carrying of bags, we did it slowly. I'm not really ill, as I was  during the first 2 weeks, it's just the depressing cough with the hurting ribs and now the eye infection again. Have a different sort of antibiotic drops, they already feel better. Roasting chickens on special offer, 4€ and also another 2€ on my fidelity card, because sell by date is tomorrow. Now have Magnums in the freezer image Am I batty wanting ice cream in winter? image

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
