Chicky - budge up, there's room for another one in there image

Very tempted Fg. A few days in the Dordogne might be nice. Good food and wine, followed by a bit of gentle intimidation, just the ticket.

Well done on the meeting, DD - so pleased you're a step closer with your plans. Your ex sounds very difficult to deal with image. Thinking of you and willing you on.

Liriodendron, glad things went well with your mum.

I got out in the garden for an hour this afternoon, just moving compost and topsoil into a raised bed but it felt good to finally have a little bit of energy. I've found a photo of my garden last summer that I really love - first summer it's been usable in years so a special thing for me - and made it my lock screen. It's giving me a little thrill every time I pick it up image

I could fit in that handbag - I'm quite little. Like one of those little dogs.....image

It was good to come back from an afternoon out and find DD's great news. Well done, DD.

We went to a retail park west of Norwich that I found when looking up lighting. So now I have a very neat floor lamp that positions where you want it, up or down and has 3 shades of brightness when you touch a place on it's stem.

There was also Boots for my skin cream and mascara (not 'til the conjunctivitis is better) and an M&S food. I have never bought food from M&S before, looked yummy, but expensive. But I bought a couple of meals from there all the same. Bought white pillow cases, a couple to take back to France, in the huge Sainsbury's. The French use square pillows, which I don't like. I buy English feather ones. Now I feel tired, but I know this horrid bug is really on the way out.

We are booked to go to a Pantomime tomorrow and I wanted a trial run out to see how I felt.

Glad you're  a bit better now BL  image

For any Bowie fans, lovely Rick Wakeman is on Simon Mayo's Radio 2 show just now, as it's a year since Bowie died.  He's being great as always.

Bother. I was eating a cerise tomato and there was something crunchy in it. Was the front part of a pre-molar and some of its ancient filling. Have rung dentist son and will have to see when we get back. Feel a bit guilty as he is fully booked for a month so he's seeing me on his day off. He thinks I need a crown.

Oh heck BL - I did that just before Christmas. Troublesome tooth is now 80% filling and is on it's final warning before a crown.

Hope you get mates' rates image

we were at a very posh wedding in Jersey.

I had a tiny piece of shell in my crab and avocado starter, lost quarter of a molar, cost me a fortune, flight was delayed and we lost out on any connection then hired car was trashed as we at reception and we had to fork out and then claim back, weekend cost us a bomb? Re St Michelle ( what we call M&S) since moving here I keep a "cheats" drawer in the freezer for the nights I need a breakimage

DD hang in there, keep remembering how far you have come and be proud

Liro hope your journey not too long, glad resort was good.

hope all poorlies are feeling better tonight

I lost half a molar on a brioche once. Not even the crust.
