They're really lovely chicky. You clearly had a great time. Did you remortgage the house to pay for dinner? Gorgeous blue skies too.
I was just looking online to see if I could find out about the wreath at the big rock at the first lochan on my walk on Sunday - I posted a pic of it. I found out there's a commemorative cairn at the top of the corrie, which I didn't pass as I went up the other side. A young lad disappeared two years ago while running in Glen Clova and his body was found nearby. He was only 20 - a marine from the 45 Command in Arbroath. The wreath had the numbers 4 and 5 with a dagger in between, which is their symbol.
How very sad. If you have to go - it's not a bad place. They chose the spot because of the location. Makes you appreciate life a little more.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thankfully, the strong winds abated during the night but more to come.
DD It will, no doubt, be a trying Christmas day for you. However, you have the UK trip to look forward to with Charlie when you will both meet up with more friends.
Firework market deaths in Mexico.....more sad news.
pitch dark out there cants see a thing I think it might be the shortest day today? Or is it tomorrow?
thanks Lantana That wee family really needed some good news so we are thrilled for them. We head out to Moscow on 13th so not to long to wait for cuddles
wind not too bad here Joyce but as you say there is more to come
DD hope you enjoy the film, Charlie will be getting very excited now, good luck with everything
Lantana, the same to you and yours let's hope for "peace on earth" soon

Indeed, Fairy. The older I get, the more I realise I've got to grab it while I can...
Hi all.
Sad story Fairy. Have to agree with the sentiment though.
Gorgeous pics chicky and I'm glad you had a great time. Liri your pics were great too. I just sent you a message on the jigsaw site about new albums.
I'll have to catch up with all the goings on tomorrow as my eyes are closing as ai type. Night all.
Lesley, have you put some photos on the jigsaw site? If so, what heading can I find them under?
Morning all / afternoon Pat
