  • Hello again ... Back from a lovely day with Wonky and here Lovely Hub and now stuffed with a little Chinese takeaway. While I was there their central boiler threw a wobbly. The plumber is coming on Monday. It's a good job they've got a blazing fire in their basement snug image

Torrential rain and spray all the way home - I had fog lights on most of the way!

take care if you're driving folks!

Glad you got back safely Dove, at least I don't think you had to go on the dreaded A11, saw on yesterday's news there'd been another fatal accident. When we've driven up or down to Stansted there always seems to be an accident.

Wretched Alexa cat has dug up one of my troughs of pansies again. What is it about pansies? She does it every year about this time. I've had to put a fence around the sundial bed. We have a dark tortoiseshell stray cat who is eating her food. She eats outside, don't have a catflap. Dark cat runs away very fast when it sees me.

Going to friends for lunch tomorrow.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Evening all.

Afternoon on sofa watching the rugby.

Steak and good red wine for tea, OH thought I deserved it.

Followed that with X Men Apocalypse, trashy series of movies, but I love them. Now feeling like Scotch, so may be late on parade tomorrow.

Might have to tell you about NDNs dog then.

How can you lie there and think of England

Has the dog been on the wacky baccy too?

  • BL I was on the a140, but there was a nasty crash on that one the other day. In many ways it's worse than the A11, having little dual carriageway and a lot of side turnings where cars have to wait in the middle of the road to turn right.

Anyway, time for bed and Round Britain Quiz. Sweet dreams all image

I've been outside planting more tomato plants again - also some of my germinated dill seedlings. It certainly lifts my spirits being our in my garden. I need to remind myself of that, when I'm sitting inside feeling bored.
