Just in case I disappear before I've had time to read back, we arexpecting a power cut from 9-3 today for some line work.  Interesting timing since I was expecting to watch a bit of the US stuff this afternoon.  I guess I'll just have to wait.image

Ok, I've caught up now. It's strange to be feeling very hungry after reading about the lovely meals cooked, but since it's only breakfast time, I'd better settle for muesli. image

We've got no sun this morning and it's just a bit cool. Stil no rain, but the skies are looking promising.

Ive decided that when I can get time outside after our regular Wednesday trip to town, I'm going to transfer my tomato plants out into the garden and risk more cold nights getting to them. They are finding the high day temperature very trying in the GH. I'll put plastic tubes around them with bamboo stakes. That should do it. Not too sure about the Tagetes, though. They are just a bit too sensitive.

Obelixx, sympathy about the dark cyclists. Our road to town is winding and hilly with barely room for two vehicles, but we often meet cyclists on the road and it's all we can do not to knock them off. They aren't very good about visible clothing either.  there are three little hills one after the other which we call "jump-ups" and you can't see over them until you're on the top. That's invariably where we meet the cyclists or worse still, log trucks which take up three quarters of the road. Gives us a bit of a turn when coming face to face with them right on top of the hills. They don't slow down either.

anyway, I'd better get off while there's still power.
