    Hi all.

Gloriously sunny with a very sharp frost, looks more like snow on the ground.

Plan to get some real sunlight today, rather than the light box. A short walk should cool me down!

Did anyone hear the 2 experts debating the authenticity of a new Beethoven manuscript, on the Today programme, made some of our arguments on various threads, sound very tame.

Keep going DD, you will get there.

  • And does anyone else think that parliamentary aides and advisors seem to be singularly stupid? Having worked in law and social services where we would have been sacked for breaches of confidentiality my advice would be... Buy a Bdooly Briefcase!!! I'm sure you can afford one!!! image

    Morning all /afternoon Patimage

Clari and Dove....our week of severe frosts didn't finish off the greenfly on a rose bush. Do they have anti-freeze in their bodies?

DD,,,stop for a rest at some point!!!  It would be good if you could clinch the deal soon.

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

Pat I'm glad to hear that your Dr's appointment went well and put your mind more at easeimage.  Joyce I was amazed to see a cloud of midges hovering over the garden at the first sign of a thawimage.  These insects are tougher than usimage.

Hope all goes well DD - fingers crossed for the right outcome for you.  How's the neck today Dove?

Obelixx I'm looking forward to more kitten photos.  Hope they become great friendsimage.  Topbird have fun in London.

    Morning all.

3 hours sleep last night so at least we're up early.

Not a cloud in the sky. 27 and sunny, so beach beckons.

    Keep warm.

    Devon.
  • Neck's a lot easier today thanks - I took painkillers before bedtime so I was relaxed and comfy when I went to bed, and had the shower set on Pulse on my neck for a good 5 mins this morning - that's really helped image

Not a cloud here either Hosta, and very sunny ... bright blue sky ......... and 1.2C !!!  The birdbath is set solid!!!  Enjoy the beach.

We're eating very well here this week image  I'm trying to make some space in the freezer so we will have room for Christmas things - consequently I'll be roasting a small piece of top rib for supper, slow roasted with roasties, yorkshires , purple sprouting and roasted squash ... you can form a queue ... those bearing wine will be allowed in ...  image

Just back from a little walk on the moors. Glorious sunshine, but very cold. Most of the boggy bits frozen, which makes walking a lot easier.

I have a nice Rhone which would go well with that Dove.
