And the greenhouse in the sunniest part if it's for growing toms and peppers and chillies.   Not so critical if it's for bringing on seedlings, cuttings and sheltering plants over winter.

Ob; I have two greenhouses to try and "hide" from the kitchen view. Fortunately the entire garden is pretty sunny.

Dove: at this rate I will be incorporating the pear tree and pond into their run to try to squeeze everything in without looking squashed.

Very hot today, so I've been spending most of the time inside.

Pat, you could have done with some of the large hailstones, which fell in Brisbane, to cool things down.

Clari...it's encouraging to be turning your thoughts to the garden after the months of plaster dustimage

Hi Fidget and Joyce. Yes, most unpleasant out there, but we have reverse cycle air con, thank goodness, and it's set to 23 right now. One of the reasons we had solar panels installed some years ago, so I don't feel guilty about using power we've generated ourselves.

No rain, let alone hail, but I'd be very grateful for some moisture of some kind.
