    Evening all.

Today was busy. But no snow yet.

Afternoon dog walks are now ending in total darkness. It amazes me the amount of people CYCLING on the path wearing black on top of black with not so much as a reflector that shout at you when you don't move out the way. It's bad enough the dog walkers out there with no torches (how do you tell where to scoop the poop? By feel??) Poor Reggie must think me so over protective!

We try and avoid walkies in the dark but have reflective collars and harnesses for when it's unavoidable and OH would don one of those fluo waistcoat thingies you have to have for cars now, in case of emergencies.  Possum has been trained always to have a white or cream scarf and gloves if she's out after dark.

I don't understand why more people don't wear light or reflective things for their personal safety, especially dark mornings and evenings in contrast deadening orange street lights.

Fish pie looks good but no thanks Dove.  We're having Toulouse sausages from well brought up pork baked with red onions, red peppers and red cherry toms sprinkled with balsamic vinegar and honey.  Sounds odd but it's yummy with some lightly cooked Savoy cabbage.

I think I might have fish pie for starters and Toulouse sausages for mains, please.

True Dove, but you can't have too much of a good thing and yours does look rather fab.

    Pdoc - help yourself.

    |'ve heard from Fairy - she's ok but has asked me to explain that she's 'temporarily indisposed' .  She hopes to be posting again very soon.
