The snow's vanishing here. It looked very pretty last night when I went to bed but I'm glad it's not hanging around. Cold though but that's the way of it. Your wall bashing is a good way of getting rid of frustration....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, At the moment I feel like the lunatics have taken over the asylum, both here and across the pond. I feel sorry for the younger generation.
Had a lovely day yesterday looking after grandchildren, took Mabel to visit Secondborn and Jonah. Her partner proposed in Rome, they were in a rowing boat in the middle of a lake, very romantic. I have to say the ring is gorgeous, a pink saphire with diamonds either side, the boy did good.
Put Mabel to bed last night (she is 3), she brushed her teeth but announced she didn't want a wee. After about 5 minutes I heard a little voice calling nanna so I went to the bottom of the stairs and Mabel was sitting on the top step, blankie in hand. I asked her why she wasn't in bed. She said 'Nanna, here is the deal, I'll have a wee and go to sleep if I can have some more milk. Is it a deal?' She really made me laugh, needless to say she got the milk.
Had a really heavy frost, so the dahlia's have blackened, will need to motivate myself to get outside, remove the foliage and give them a good mulch. Have a couple of cross stitches to start, hopeing to get them finished to give them to daughters for christmas but not sure I will manage it.
Is it Liri whose off to her cottage in Scotland, I can't remember, hope you have a safe trip.
Glad to hear you are safely back BL.
Hope the wrist feels better soon Fairy.
Sorry if I've missed something, I just turn the page and my mind goes blank. Have a good day folks.
Hello again - well ... and now for some good news ... two sets of 'Short Tennis' with no real problems other than trying to serve underarm . Now for a quick shower and then to get checked over by the physio ... life goes on ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Visitors gone and landscapers packing up so will be nice to have the house and garden back to ourselves again. The guys have done a brilliant job - nothing exciting as far as gardens / planting are concerned but a large patio, useable paths, a level garden and working drains mean the whole place looks much more finished & tidy. Small extra border to plant up in my own time.
Next job is to get out there and start clearing leaves, moving left over bricks etc etc and having a really good tidy up - but that might have to wait till the weekend - cold and wet outside today.
Nice to see you fairy - hope the wrist improves soon. Glad the tennis was ok Dove - I'm sure you're being careful not to undo all the hard work.
Nothing to say about the results from over the water other than that it surely hasn't been decided yet because Trump did say he wouldn't accept the results.. Or is that another instance of him saying something and then conveniently forgetting all about it??
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Thanks Hosta. Now I've got it straight. I did laugh about the Canada thing. One commentator today said they expected a mass migration from US to Canada, he was probably joking though.

For Pat, just when I thought we might be able to reclaim her.

Time for bed for me.
