Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Morning all.

Good heavens DD! With you around the French must be wondering what's hit them! When we came to France they didn't seem even to have children's birthday parties, let alone Halloween. They are always late anyway. When we go to OH's choir concerts the English are always sitting quietly in plenty of time and the French start rushing in 15 mins after the Concert is supposed to start.

I think we are going to the North Norfolk coast today for an explore. We are passing by a GC and the farm shop that Dove has talked about. Hopefully pheasant for lunch tomorrow. Local friends are coming for lunch on Sunday. Wonder if the farm shop has lamb? I'll bring the cool bag.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Beware chaos in the GC carpark BL!   They've got building work going on at the moment - they're building a new restaurant and other things. The farm shop is in the far left corner as you drive in. They usually have very good lamb but smaller joints only. Have a lovely day image

Morning everyone. What's going on with your Parliament?  Our news is full of it. brexit or not!!  It's almost taking over the news from the US rubbish.  It's just convenient to turn off the Teke,

Im totally fed up with mischief-making press trying to give the impression that it's ok to go against the country's constitution - that's called anarchy!!! Things can be done, Brexit can happen, but things have to be done in a constitutional way, otherwise we might just as well have mob rule. The press and some politicians are being totally irresponsible image

    See original post

Nothing new there then - eh Dove?

Morning everyone - sat with just a towel wrapped round me - it's bloomin' freezing... WW might have picked the wrong time of year to start a new outdoor job.

I helped with running a cattery a few years ago - hated those morning when the water connections were frozen solid and scrubbing out chalets meant lugging buckets of water around - always got wetter than normal. Watering my new turf is a similar experience this week...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Hi all.

    Cold and grey, again.

So true Dove. I watched Question time last night and was shouting at the TV Because of the lies and general ignorance being spouted.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
