Best wishes to you and your OH Fidget. Hope he arrives home safely before too long and has no lasting injuries. Something like that can really shake both of you up but thank goodness he was in a tank.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hopefully your OH has been rescued by now and is on his way home Fidget - hopefully he's felt warmed by all the (platonic) Forker Hugs that have been sent his way ((hugs especialy for Fidget's OH))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Topbird - I remember you saying that your OH is planning a loooooooooooooong cycle ride when he retires next year.
You and Wonky need to get together and introduce him to her friend who cycled right around the globe (arriving back last month). At the very least he could pass on a few tips about saddle sores!

Fidget, please let us know when he's home safe and sound, had a hot bath, mug of soup and you both get over the shock. He'll certainly need warming up. I've been nithered all day

Yes he raised several thousand for a charity that provides bikes to youngsters in Africa toenable. them to bike to school and still do their family chores. He's taken on Wonky's old part time gardening job now that he's back, to get him back into the swing of things.
Afraid that's taken me ages. I'm slightly squiffly

Hubby is home, car emptied, and taken away. Hubby fed and now got a stiff drink. I've seen the photos, the Daf lorry came off worse than the volvo, and that is going to need a new tailgate, bumper, all rear lights, interior lining, and a suspension check. It appears to be six inches shorter than it was. The Daf lorry is nearly new, and examining the photos, appears to have a camera in the front. I wonder if it was switched on?
