Joyce: train? This dog is first to cuddle up to the hot water bottle in bed! Hopefully things will start moving a pace when his lordship gets fed up of hearty warming stews.

Punk: it's been gloriously warm and sunny all morning here but just as I posted a photo to instragram the heavy clouds have appeared. It mentioned snow in Scotland on the radio; it must have gotten lost.

Clari- no more warming stews for him!

Yes, snow was forecast for some of the hills up here but it's fairly mild at the coast.

Joyce; he hates stew! If I made him curries and chillies he'd not get a move on. But mountains of dumplings and we're good to go (plus I love dumplings!)

  • Indeed, Hosta.  I've just read those Huffington Post comments and had to explain my guffaws to OH.  If we didn't laugh, we'd cry...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

All important dog food delivery is... LOST IN TRANSIT

Well I don't know whose transit van it's gotten lost in but can you imagine the smell of 25kg of meaty goodness not to mention the tripe fantastic if they don't find it before the weekend? image

I spent the morning digging out acanthus, and digging up bulbs...... so that I can plant bulbs. My front shin hurts now so I'm going to soak it in the bath. The sky has gone a funny colour here, hope its not Sheffield snow on the way. It does seem to be quite warmish, around 10 C here. I still have a huge bag of double daffs to plant, some tulips and loads of alliums that I dug up earlier on in the year.
