Unbelievable news, oh, well, there's nothing we can do, so let them wallow in their own results. Hopefully it won't affect many other countries. Not yet anyway. It'll be interesting what starts after 20 January.

We're watching replays of excerpts of the Voice from many different countries at the moment. Kylie, Ricky, Wil .I .am and Sir Tom. Rather nice to see them again.  Holland, BBC, USA, South Africa, Spain, France, Germany, etc.

By the way, while I think of it, when Hosta mentioned Kylie a couple of pages back, it got me thinking. I'm fairly sure that the Minogue girls were Brits originally, certainly the Gibb brothers were from Isle of Mann, John Farnham a Brit , and also Jimmy Barnes. We're quick to claim them as Australian because they've been so successful here, but truth is they came from yoUr areas. We used to watch Kyle and Danni when they were little kids on Young Talent Time.

Are you questioning the size of my little dainty feet Pat?  image

Unfortunately, many of the views from summits look like this....

Not sure it would make a good jigsaw! There is a mountain in there somewhere...image

Ok you're forgiven. I think we might have even got some rain tonight, but its dark and misty out there, so we can't see either. image

Well I went back to bed, but couldn't sleep, I no longer have any understanding of the world.

Snowing here, but not as heavy as predicted, small amount settling.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

  • Hello folks. You were right about putting the kettle on, Dove!

Found a signal up a hill - feeling a bit lonely today thanks to unmentionable awfulness from across the Pond, so thought I'd have a look in.  Been hacking blown plaster off the living room wall for a bit of therapy, and if it stays dry I might attack the bramble patch later - at least I'll stay warm...

Snow on the distant hills is beautiful.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
