    On a train again ???

watching a lovely sunrise out the window - its going to be a beautiful day - wrap up warm and enjoy ?

  • Hurrumph image Have woken with a cricked neck. Serves me right for falling asleep on the sofa last night. I've taken a couple of Solpadeine and OH has rubbed some Deep Heat onto my shoulder and neck.  He'll help me fleece the fig.

Hope everyone else has had a better night.

    Morning all, hi Patimage

Reggie looks sooo relaxedimage.   Obelixx the market looks good and Cosmos is a little darlingimage.  We once had a cat whose preferred viewing was snooker.  He used to run behind the TV to see if the balls fell out after seeing them disappear into the pocketimage.

Loved the view of the sea Doveimage.  Sorry you've got aches and pains this morningimage.  Take all the help you're offeredimage.

SM this morning so I'd better get on with the list.  Have a good day everyoneimage

    Morning all.

Two men have come to replace the pool filter, another expense. But the old one was leaking, I was scared it would explode! It's very old.

Hope your neck improves through the day, Dove.

I think it will be a sunnyday, so that means gardening. But it's 0° now with a light frost.

OH wants a pool Busy.  I'm not convinced - expensive if it's in ground and ugly if it's not - and we'd have to sneak it in cos of being a "zone agricole" so it has to be connected to the house.   Your son's cat looks very comfy and so glossy.

Our pair do that Clari, so relaxed whether on a sofa or in their baskets.

Warm and sunny this morning.  OH is off to fetch gas for the cooker and then we're both off to get another kitten for Cosmos to play with.  Black and white so we're calling her Minstrel after a dianthus velvet and lace.

Sorry about your neck Dove.  Hope it loosens up soon.

Lesley - OH doesn't really watch snooker anymore since he has golf on Sky.  I've had previous cats climbing round TVs looking for the bird/cat/other on programmes like Planet Earth and one long ago who loved snooker and tennis and followed every ball.

I'm saving Planet Earth series for a rainy day.   Missing too.

No Pat today?  Hope she's OK.

Have a great start to the week everyone.

    Hi all.

Sat in front of light box whilst catching up with you all.

As usual absolutely captivated by Attenborough, you know how much you enjoy a programme when it finishes and you can't believe an hour has gone.

How can you lie there and think of England

Hi everyone. We had a visit today from our daughter and grandson. Had a splitting headache by the time they left so had a panadol and a lay down on the sofa. No noticeable improvement from the new medication yet, but I'm  due to see Doc tomorrow afternoon.

i love the pet photos. The cats and Reggie look very cuddly.

hope your neck/shoulder is better Dove.

Watching a program about George Boole at the moment.  Very interesting.

    have a good day all.

I don't think I would ever have a below ground pool installed, expensive and running costs too. But lots of houses have them here. Lots of people have above ground bright blue or white pools, not very expensive as pools go, but ugly. What about a wooden clad one with decking, Obelixx? They can be landscaped to look OK. http://www.bayleisure.co.uk/cms/uploads/images/above-3.jpg  This one doesn't look finished yet, would need fencing too. Does it get hot where you are? It's often well into the 30s here in summer. I certainly wouldn't bother with a pool in England, assuming it could be afforded.
