Hi Pat, RB and Dove, I'm good. Front garden is settling a bit after the driveway and the new flower bed, still need to decide what to plant in the other parts but I think I'll just fill it with bulbs until next spring. The lovely cosmos that I had as place fillers are really going over and mostly have needed pulling out but my goodness they did put the effort in! Now that lovely neighbour has fixed our leaking gutter I can think about planting something in the bit that used to flood. No idea what yet!
Thanks all for your kind words it's a work in progress like all our gardens I'm sure. We are never quite happy are we? We always need to add that extra little tweak and yes lots of water butts all around the garden.
This is just the main central garden there is a garden at the main entrance and in the car-parks at either end of the building, all of which I still have to have a go at.
I'm off out again the suns out and rain is forecast for week end.
Lovely Catnap. A lovely neat and tidy place and your planting will help to soften it. I can just imagine the pleasure it will give everyone. I hope you get volunteers as undergardeners - not takeoverers
Obelixx you are so busy with all the new regimes. Good to know you have a helpful PO and I'm sure you'll manage very well at the 'serious' dance class. You can always introduce cake and see how it goes.
Good to see you Steve. I'm sure if you put a photo on you will be inundated with ideas for your not so wet area.
Pat, thank goodness for that, I thought it was just me who had difficulty doing big puzzles on a little screen. Keep warm tonight.
Pat have you done the Goose fair Nottingham puzzle on the jigsaw puzzle site. I had a look and saw it. It is one of the biggest fairs in the country. All the little travelling fairs come together for the first week in October. The goose fair was originally where geese were sold to be fattened for christmas. Now it's just a funfair.

Stopped for lunch.
Nice to see you back Steve.
Lovely communal gardens. Nice that someone made them lovely , rather than just doing the cheapest thing.
Dry and sometimes sunny, but a real chill in the wind.
3 lots of washing done and in the conservatory( what else is it for? )
Cleared the courgettes, peppers and last of the tomatoes from tunnel and brought fresh garden compost to mix into the beds now they're empty.
busy, busy , busy.
Our washing's been out on the line Hosta, but I've just got it in and draped it around the upstairs radiators, just to air.
There's a bit chilli con carne simmering in the oven - OH will be pleased with me
Anyone else listening to GQT from the Old Vicarage at East Ruston?
