Back from Homebase with cache pots for Christmas cacti that've gone up a pot size and won't fit into their old ones now it's time for them to come back indoors.
I also called in at the farm shop and picked up some bits for the curry - now I've decided it's an indoor day the sun has come out ........... but there are some big black clouds heading this way .... chicken going into marinade when I've had another coffee .......

Time for breakfast here. We are only just up. Hubby woke up screaming in the night. Thank goodness, only cramp in his thighs. I thought it was going to be an ambulance job again. After Brunch, I have a load of bulbs to plant, and some to go to mums.... Dads red daffodils ( family joke, they are red tulips), to go around his fruit trees, and some double peachy ones for mum.
Bulb order in - a purple and white tulip combo for my pots, and 120 Feb Gold daffs for the meadow .....now only have to wait for the postie to deliver.
Just had a lord lambourne apple, straight from the tree, for my lunch . Plenty more where that came from this year?????

Chicky
Yesterday I picked the first ever pear from our espaliered Concorde - it's on the sideboard ripening - there are three more on the tree
Fidget - some loud noise woke me around 2.22am - now I know who to blame

We've had thundering and lightening here for the last hour, now its piddling down.
Telly watching afternoon I think.
Chicky, I think Lord Lambourne are wonderful. We have about a dozen on the little tree. Something to savour, you never find them in the shops.
