    Hi all.

Sleep very disturbed since I got home. Did not get to sleep until 1 ish, wide awake again at 5. I do like listening to Farming today though.

I am with you on Winter Hosta, have started doing light box and already thinking about winter holiday, shame it is not till January.

Weird phone call last night, someone from the local WI rang and said " I believe you have just been somewhere interesting, would you like to come and talk to us about it?"

How did they know? Anyway agreed I would give a talk on Medicine in a war zone.

Not very rock and roll talking to the WI, is it, must be getting old?!

punkdoc, 3 weeks Sunday and we're off to Cape Verde. Nowt as fancy as your winter breaks, but it'll be warm and sunny .

Home for 3 weeks then off to The Gambia for 4 weeks.

Did I mention I hate winter?

Punk I'm 31 and regularly do WI talks! Not about anything as dramatic and newsworthy as what you've been up too but still... NOT OLD!

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

Hollie the wood burner sounds lovely.  I'm sure that will help with the winter bluesimage.  I'm hanging around waiting until it's light enough to take the dog out.  A new school is being built at the end of the lane and a rough, stoney path has been installed to keep pedestrians away from the construction traffic. It's whole length is a trip hazardimage.

Joyce it will be nice to have your daughter around for a couple of days - even if she does leave your garden depletedimage

Hosta you have me green with envy.  You have a lot to look forward toimage.  Pdoc I wonder if there will be cakeimage.

    Have a good day everyoneimage
