I would really be interested to know if it bothers Philip Green 2 hoots to be stripped of his Knighthood, bet it annoys his wife. image Now if only they could remove the yachts, cars etc and put the money into the pension fund.

    Punkdoc, good on ya.

Maybe they've slipped through a grating into a drain and been washed away .............

Not with a hooter like mine...

For those who asked, I've been eating more sensibly and after doing the Couch to 5k programme, I have been doing the Ronhill Run Every Day in October personal challenge. I've run 50 miles so far this month.

Just how much in the sticks are some of you with your broadband speeds...? I get 80Mbs!

Fairy. . .the owl story was sad and I was also saddened looking at the orphaned orangutangs in the wheelbarrows being taken out to play. Thought "the Alley cat" was superb.

Taking to the hills at the weekend?

We have top speed virgin cable, but at the mo, it seems to be on a go slow.  Hubby did a check, and it says five computers, someone streaming video, and two kindles.  We only have one kindle in the house. We've changed the password twice. Next door neighbour did work with Alan Turing at Bletchley in Ww2, but at 98, I don't think it's him hacking us, probably some seven year old.

Evening all. I will be posting most of my holiday pictures on the camera thread . However here are some others.

Fairy it was the first time I've visited Ullapool  but it won't  be the last. For me second only to Glen  Coe.

Steve; which c25k programme was it you did? I've seen a few different ones but the one I tried told me I walked too quickly so would tell me off for running when I hadn't even broken into a shuffle.

  • Clari, I just used the NHS free one. It doesnt monitor your movements, it's all just verbal directions. It comes as podcasts too.

Good morning to you all from Nelson's own county - whilst celebrating  the victory at Trafalgar we also remember the loss of our most famous son. image

    Morning all.

Unsettled night with the dog wanting to go out (belly still not right and I am convinced he is currently not trusting his trumps). Still; had to cancel today's school due to something that happened yesterday so at least it'll be quiet.

His lordship and the hound are still in bed snoring. Must wake them up shortly!

I'll be thinking about the villagers of Aberfan today. I've been watching videos clips and it all sounds horrid even today.

    Almost the weekend everyone!

Steve: I'll see if I can get on with the NHS on. Not sure where my running shoes are though. Somewhere under the boxes!
