Shouldn't be here really, supposed to be at gym but feeling tired and groggy (eye nearly cleared up but still achy) and a bit fed up. Really should have gone to gym but thought a quiet night in might do me a bit of good and I have been out all day, working in charity shop and teaching this afternoon. Now I'm feeling fed up not so sure. Anyway, I'll be fine tomorrow.
Offer on house was rejected, I knew it would be, it is a game to be played but I am such a straightforward person I find it very difficult, but I know it is has to be done and I can't give in too soon.
Nice to see some familiar faces (should that read avatars? ) on here and new ones and also nice to see some nice garden - ery pics. I was wondering about Punkdoc too, hope he is alright, surely too early for his winter holiday?
Obelixx thanks for the effort in posting the poster and pass on thanks to the PO lady too, very kind. I daren't look at the jigsaw link either, maybe in the deep dark depths of winter.
Cooked a nice dinner for myself again tonight, I like cooking (and eating) but realised, yet again, that cooking for one requires far less ingredients - oops, can't let it go to waste though can I? It was (quite) healthy though, I suppose so not too much damage done - hopefully.
Right, off to find a scandi series to absorb myself in to get me over this little hump - and maybe a glass of red.
Have a lovely evening all.

Only Hosta could have made my previously damp patch sound quite so rude...
I've been good, busy doing a lot of running as I am running daily for the Run Every Day in October personal challenge. Today I did my first ever 10km (that's 6.2miles for those who want it in old money!)
Steve, well done, you've really got the bug haven't you - do you want to join me for the Paris marathon in April?? I have a great personal coach (4 months to a 4 hour marathon book), I am happy to share the tips. Cutting down on alcohol is the trickiest I've found so far.
Gardeners World has beaten the Scandi drama idea. watching the rockery bit now and thinking of Hosta and his big one.

Evening all.
Is it too early to go to bed??
Hi all
Hope all are well.
Def too early - Monty's on!
Just (yesterday) got through harvesting 50kg+ of apples (Crispin) from IB; now en route to the boat....whose engine is finally being fitted next week!

DD, I barely drink. Cutting down on biccies has been my secret. I'm down two stone now.
Well done, you'll be in perfect shape for the marathon then???
I've never done a race of any type, I was going to go start doing parkruns but I haven't had time!
I used to do the Parkruns before I left the UK, great events, good for personal challenges and comradery. Make time, it's only half an hour.
