Good morning, bit wet and grey here . Off to a 'vide maison' this morning, I suppose equivalent to a garage sale, but it is just across the road from me, would be silly not to have a nosy, hoping to find some garden tools.
Then a birthday party to take Charlie to and a meeting with the plumber regarding the cost of repairs on the house.
Then I am going to get myself all organised to watch SCD uninterrupted.
Good weekend to all.

Morning all, a little lay-in this morning as OH carers don't come in until 9.00 today, it's warm here too with a bit of sea mist but doors and windows open.
Sounds like another busy day DD.
Might try to get into the garden again as they now forecast the rain for tomorrow but first some breakfast.
I'm glad you said that Catnap - last I'd heard it was going to be fine on Sunday and wet on Monday, but now they've swapped it around. Think Monday is going to be bulb planting day now.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Our forecast has changed too. First dry, then expect a downpour or two and now expect feeble showers, maybe. Doesn't matter as I have to get on with wardrobes today and get some clothes organised. Been so busy on pantry and kitchen and downstairs I'm on my last available jeans and fleece. We have our first guests arriving for a sleepover on Tuesday so on a mission - our horsey farm neighbours who are thinking of retiring here too.
Enjoy the garage sale DD. Hope you find some tools. Hold your nerves for the Chateau de gateaux and don't forget you'll need to check out the local competition as well as places in the surrounding area to see what you can offer that they don't. I expect Charlie would love to help with the research.
Busy - thanks. Plastic cups may be the way to go but, just n case, I'll check out a couple of places at La Roche-sur-Yon - essential local research.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I hate running, just can't understand what people see in it! Jars the knees and I have a dodgy one. Like walking, but now Tigger has gone the fun has gone out of it.
If it doesn't rain today I'll plant some daffodils. But first we must take two old TVs to the tip. When my son came to lunch last Saturday he helped OH put them in the trailer. One is very heavy.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
First decent amount of ( admittedly broken ) sleep all week.
Bit of rain overnight, first in ages. Typical as I'm planning a burn up this morning. Haven't had a bonfire since we moved here, can't think why not. Don't we just LOVE a bonfire?
DD, patience, you'll get there. You know you made a cheeky , low offer. You'll get there in the end. Just play the game and it'll all come right in the end.
I need to pop down the road to W'rose - we need something for our supper tomorrow - I'm fancying roast beef .......... but I may change my mind when I get there

Morning everyone
Jolly warm here, for the time of year. We've opened the windows wide and turned the heating off.
