Brilliant Pat Thought you'd know it - the flower shape kept saying lamium to me but the leaves weren't right for any that I know. It looks a lovely plant - shame it's not as hardy as I need plants to be
We've just got some heavy drizzly rain - I knew it would start if I put my gardening gear on to go out and plant some bulbs
Better go into the garage and hunt out the rat poison and bait box - we've got a rat who's recently tried to take up residence in the compost heap - looks like a big one from the size of the tunnel he/she's excavated

Well done Wonky. I'm so pleased for you. AND A VAN!!!!
Hosta moving today. bulbs can wait. I planted loads yesterday. Dove, I''ve planted loads of alliums and tete a tete in those new beds on the terrace behind utility room. Popped another clematis in and 3 different varieties of penstemon ( 12 plants ) mixed in to give a bit of height between hostas and clematis.
Right, found where the rat bait stuff is ... behind a stack of large paintings ... not risking moving those ... my shoulder's so much better this morning I don't want to do myself any harm. My bet is that the cover for the wooden bench is on those shelves too - better make OH a list of jobs for this evening.
The rain is really heavy and steady now - just what the lawn needs. I'll have to find myself something else to do - doesn't look like gardening weather today.

Dove, most of the Prostanthera species are fairly hardy so would possibly be ok in the UK, but they tend to be a bit scrambly and untidy. I have seen them used as informal hedges, but I wouldn't bother here.
Well, I found something else to do - our bedroom has had a thorough dust, polish, hoover etc, and the big wardrobe has had a sort out ... it was worth it ... my lovely and almost brand new coat had been shoved to the back a couple of years ago as it was too tight - I'd been feeling a bit optimistic when I bought it ....
Yay!!! It fits with room to spare!!!
And the necklace and wrap I treated myself to and then lost and thought I must have dropped the bag in the multi-storey car park ... I found that bag inside another one which had been put away 'cos it was a nice bag and I thought it might come in useful some time
Maybe I should do h*wk more often

Steady on Dove...we don't want you having a nose bleed....
Thought I might need an arc earlier. Hideous rain at work all morning. My grass is a sponge -no cutting possible for a very long time with the amount of rain in the last couple of weeks.
Can't see Mr Spider either....
There's an eco house being built near my work. They now have the green roof on. Musttry and get a pic one day but it's on a horrible corner....all squashed in. Land's expensive here though - people regularly build in their gardens and sell of the house or both houses. I find it odd that it's an eco house - but there's no room for a garden of any size..
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I've responded to Joseph. I reckon it's a Prostanthera but need to dig through a few books to decide on the species.
The barometer was right down to the bottom of the dial all day, but no storm yet - it's rather cold outside.
