Those grapes look wonderful Dove! I want a grape vine in the garden (well in the greenhouse I think for Yorkshire). To be truthful... I just want a garden! I'm so tempted to just call in some professional landscapers and to hell with it. His lordship has no concept of helping me and seems to forget my limitations. We're still chickenless despite comments. NEXT SPRING I'm just going to turn up with some chicks in a box and tell him he'd better crack on with things!

Mind you the skip is coming tomorrow (yay) so that we can clear the plaster from the lounge (all bagged up on the floor and hopefully knock all the plaster off in the hallway. Not that we can find a sodding builder that is! I'm not looking forward to the colder nights with no central heating (mind you since we only really have the kitchen and bedroom I can crack on with baking to warm the house and treat myself to a new blanket... or six!)

Last day of the H20 today.... its proving a killer!

    Welcome back Lirl.

    See original post

I am glad. It will be interesting to see whether the badger haired Hollywood will jump with the show to 4. If not.... they've not really got any of the original show left! I try to remain optimistic, hopeful perhaps.

They will still have the format and production team, presumably, but you have to wonder how they will manage with a new judging and presenting team and will we see great ads all over the tent for mixers, processors, cake tins, flours, sugars and other essential baking goodies?

    Courage Clary.  Nearly done.

OK.  Coffee has brewed so I'm off.  See you later.

Oh dear Clari:  house and garden in a total guddle image It all gets on top of you.

Maybe forget the garden until the spring and concentrate on the house. Hope you get a builder soon!!

Joyce: the garden has been forgotten all of this year, and most of last. His lordship has his man shed that he can retreat too and of course the workshop he rents with a friend. They're his personal space. I have no where. The kitchen is barely a kitchen when after spending an hour scrubbing it to within an inch of its life I turn my back to find car parts have magically appeared. Now I'm not the best at baking but I'm pretty sure you don't need a winch switch or turbo boost dial when you're making fat rascals.

The house being a mess I can cope with. Were it not for the fact that when I come to work I don't even have an office! I have a cupboard with ONE chair and ONE childs desk that act as working space for TWO people, the wall paper I have given up trying to peel off (it has a tendency to fall off when you least expect it) and NO storage of any type meaning I've boxes and mounds all over. The new guy (who I now share this space with) can't see why we're not cracking on to get it done. Bless him. He's got a long way to go before he realises that just because the boss promised you something doesn't mean you'll actually get it!

    15???!!!!

My body doesn't function below 20C.

Re bake off. Production team and format still in place for Top Gear and look what happened there once the original presenters, erm, moved on.

I hope Channel four and Love Productions end up with, as we'd say in Scotland " a pig in a poke"

Hubby called for his internet traffic update, so he's on his way home.

Back to cleaning bathrooms for me.

Have a good day one and all.

    Any news of Bushman?
