Was it the quarter bottle you bought in the offie, Dove?.....image

Clari - how can there be so many shades of white and cream too...image

You'll be like a blue a***d fly after your caffeine hit!

Rain's on it's way methinks. Wind's getting up. Do I have any chance of doing anything worthwhile outside before it arrives? I'd like to start on the coldframe....

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I was trying to wrack my brains as to what you meant by a quarter!

Think my phone tried to tell you all about a 'coiled American football player' image  I changed the 'b' to a 'p' and didn't delete the 'quarter' image

You're all too deep for me. I miss most of the jokes, but Hubby explained about dulux. Ahhhh! Now I get it.image

best wishes to all who aren't having a good time at the moment whether health or other things.

I DID get a good laugh at the huge cuppa, Chicky.  Bushman, please remember that we are all thinking of you.  Sometimes it's hard to get you feet on the ground.

Listen to me who is on anxiety medication and suffering from side effects! Mrs know-it-all. But I do mean well. image

Weve had a good day with our Son here. The cat is finding it a bit strange, I think. She keeps looking at him as if to say, I thought you'd gone, but you are here again.

Well as usual, it's close to midnight and I'm tired again, must turn off.  Night all.

Rain started, high winds, central heating on. . . . . . I just feel like curling up with a good book.

GW in Scotland cancelled tonight for rugby. . . . Can be seen if you can access BBC2 England  969 if you have SKY.

Maybe the cat wants a longer holiday with you Pat image

    BL: hope you're coping ok.

Clari: my daughter once put stirrups though the dishwasher. . . . . no dishes in it at the time!

Fairy: I'd forget about the cold frame in this weather.image

Don't tell OH but I have been known to put all my Wolf tool heads and trwels through teh dishwasher at the end of the gardening season before sharpening, if needed, and oiling them before he got home from work.

GW is usually repeated on Sat pm on BBC2 and again on Sunday morning, after Beechgrove.

Still sunny and dry here and 22C.   No rain in sight.   I really need some for plant rescues but attic first and bedrooms.  OH is on garage duty............   Possum is sorting her riding gear.

Came in to get the dinner on , and the wind was up and the rain was on, but it's gone off again. Calm before the storm I think, as the wind's roiling around......image

I might fill the bird feeder up. Perhaps I should tether it to something too....image

I might have to head south for a walk this weekend. Never seems right somehow  image

I missed you earlier B'man - sorry about that. Keep checking in so that we can hopefully raise your spirits. Dove has big bottles of it she says.....image

I've done some timber edging -  cut, painted and attached -  and worked out where the cold frame will go. One old window painted in readiness.  Planted my new Viburnum and deadheaded the sweet peas and dianthus.

Feet up and a cuppa now image
