Hi Pat (and anyone else who is up), pretty chilly and damp here in London but can't complain when I see what has happened elsewhere and to Mark here on this forum. Thoughts with them all.
Pat, still watching Gardening Australia episodes...they are just great. Hope you are feeling OK, I see that you will rethink your GP appointment after the weekend. I am like you, it takes me forever to change GPs or appointments; if I am not actually keeling over I figure just stick with it !! But if you need to get a change then probably best to get vocal, you shouldn't live your life feeling unwell if something can be done.
Hope you will feel better soon. G'night for now Pat.
Yes Daisy. I think I'll ring the surgery on Monday and have a talk to the receptionist about who is on duty. They have a habit of giving new graduates a chance for work eXperience, so I'm not keen to go that route with this particular problem.
The other thing is, that the more people tell me I should go in, the more anxious I get. I'd rather bury my head in the sand for a while and see how it goes. My Dr already knows what's been happening over the past few months. So stop nagging, everybody. I'm monitoring it.
Morning all the nightbirds/afties Pat - I won't say anything. Hope you're feeling a bit more chipper today though
Hosta - the best sleep I get is when I fall asleep on the settee. Old habits die hard. Daughters get very annoyed with me if I don't just go to bed, now that I have one! Hopefully it'll get better for you.
Been chilly overnight but a clearing sky coming in. I should see a bit of sunrise en route for my walk - it's a long one, so I'll catch up later with all your doings.
Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning Dove, slept through the night without incident! opted for spare room but think I'll remove myself from quarantine today. Was right to have today off tho, good advice Dove
You 'sound' brighter today Wonky You know Dove knows best
Just spoke to OH -he's just got damp socks, but he has some spare ones with him so he doesn't need me to ferry a change of clothing out to him - he was wearing his waterproof leggings and coat - should have worn his wellies as well
I took some stewing beef out of the freezer last night - I think a hearty casserole is on the cards for this evening - dumplings anyone?

Hosta, what does that say about the TV news?
You need to make a bed near the TV and it would put you to sleep. - like a lullaby.

Good morning all
G'day Pat
Wet and a bit breezy here, and noticeably cooler.
I spoke to Wonky last night. She's got the whole weekend off so will rest and get better.
