Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Wonky.

I've just come in from the garden, have deadheaded and sown some Wallflower seeds, had quite a job squeezing past hubby as he lay on the sunlounger sleeping. (Do they do a smiley for Lazy Git?)

Mum wasn't too well when I visited today, so I called the doctor in and he says she is fine.  I think she might be sulking because they had a move round at the home and she doesn't like change.

Mmm my willpower is failing me today, I really, really, really want a big bag of Chocolate button, wonder how many weightwatcher points they would beimage

Just go easy on the shoulder Dove.

BL -  you have had a fair bit of trouble with storm damage this year. Hope you're up and running soon.

obelixx - you don't want "excitable wind" battering your garden or anything else, for that matter.

Since the early morning mist cleared, it has been a most glorious day. Got OH to sit out so that I could get some gardening done.image

My nerines seem to have come into bud overnight so,they and the schizostylis . . . Kaffir lily. . .are going to give a nice burst of late colour.

WW, I hope you are feeling a bit better now.

You should have tripped while carrying a (full) watering can Yvie....'help, help, there's been a terrible accident'....image

If you eat the buttons standing up, it doesn't count ...

    Nothing worse than excitable wind...image

It's been lovely here too - after the mist Joyce. Think it's almost into the twenties...better than most of the summer. There's a bunch of dark clouds heading in though, but supposed to be good again tomorrow. Hope it stays ok for Saturday. I need to get a decent walk image

My Acteas are just beginning to flower. Late for them.

I may go out and do a bit while my brisket finishes cooking.

I need to move one of mine but it will be a while before I can do it, so hopefully it'll have finished by then! image

Feeling better after an afternoon snooze.  Read back and realise I've got confused about who's learning the guitar... they do say that wee infections go with confusion...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Well, the wind is getting a bit swirly but not too strong yet and there is still no rain nor thunder and lightning.  The ground is rock hard where I haven't been watering to allow me to work so really needs a good soaking and I need all the roses to get a good drink so I can take cuttings.

Dove - does your recipe work?  The one I tried was a complete failure.  Tasted OK but stayed liquid.

Yvie - be good!   Imagine those buttons instead as bits of flab coming off and think how good that will feel.

Sausages tonight - 100% pork and herbs baked in teh oven with red onion wedges, red pepper chunks, cherry toms and a dab of honey and balsamic and olive oil and thyme.   Pointy cabbage on the side.   Yum - and it means I can potter while it cooks.

    Kites already packed RB!

Haven't had brisket in donkeys' years.  Not a  cut I see here.
