Have cut the grass - soggy as all hell, but had to be done. Mower struggled a bit even though the grass isn't very long. Raked and tidied up. Very overcast so I think more rain is on the way....image

Daughter got one lot of washing dry earlier while it was windy, but the second lot was just hingin'..no wind now. At least it's not too cold - about 15

I know Pat will be away now, but doesn't sound very good re her doc  image

Sorry about your friend Dove. Hard when friends start 'going'.

Organising a quick pizza  for tea now. Can't be bothered really. image

Will have a look round here while I wait for it.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • Evening all! Nighty night Pat, Pixel looks very happy with you! Think the cat will miss the fire as much as you miss Pixel! image hope you   to get a doctor that LISTENS to you Pat! image

Still bonkers hot here, no rain...thought Hosta was sending it over! image

Yvie, I've got one of those dahlias! image it wasn't last year or I wouldn't have planted it where I did! image

DD lovely to hear you having time to relax and keep us updated with your progress image Allo Allo is one of my and Hubby's fav programs! Real chicken soup for the soul, the name of your soon to be tea shop, always reminds me of the show! image

Dove, glad you had a lovely meal with graduated friend! image x

Hosta, exactly what I thought too re Mr x prime minister! Hmmmm image deja vu anyone?

Just had a nightmare trying to find a particular house on a ridiculously numbered housing estate! image how do you keep your cool with a delivery job Hosta!?! image however, the purpose of this trip was because I had won a bid on free cycle and needed to collect an acoustic guitar! image been promising myself to learn since I was about 13 and used to pinch my brothers when he was out and pause and rewind Prince videos until I could badly pluck similar notes image I won't be posting recordings anytime soon! image

Have a great night folks image

  • Wonky you'll have to get your brother to teach you - after all, he gave his friend his first lessons and look what happened to him!

    image Sweet dreams everyone.

I've decided to break my tablets in half and see if that makes a difference. Doc might not be happy when -(and if I confess) but it'll give me enough time to see if it makes an improvement. I know better than to stop altogether, but half should be ok.

    Morning allimage

Why not take advantage of doc's holiday Pat, and go and get a second opinion from whoever is standing in?

Have fun with the guitaring Wonky???.......how's the gardening job going?

Rosy Hardy talk was excellent last night - always lovely to hear from someone who is passionate about what they do?????

  • Good morning all image G'day Pat image  I agree with Chicky , use this opportunity for a second opinion. I learned a long time ago that stoicism is not the answer where our health is concerned! Go and see your doc's stand in.

Looks like we've got another hot day ahead of us.

  • Good morning, a bit wet here (which we are glad of really) but bit dull to look at. image

Teaching all day so out and about, not got Charlie tonight so going to make sure I make a nice dinner and find something good to watch on the tv so I don't mope. image

Good luck with the guitar WW, I still remember even now the cuts on the finger tips and for years after the hard skin - and I never really mastered it either, Mull of Kintyre was probably my best effort. image

Must dash now, school run followed by a quick trip to the tip with my tree cuttings, hope I don't get too mucky emptying the car -  leaf and mud splattered tutor not a good look.image

Have a good day all. image
