Hello , just having afternoon tea and bicke , I still have a Teddy bear that's about 60 years old , could be a new thread of Teddy pictures ?
Just got back from a visit to the New Memorial for Bomber Command , a couple of pictures , there is 26000 names on 110 plaques for those that deid from Lincolnshires Airfields
I'll just say three words Hosta - Sir Philip Green....
Perdiddling here. It's not been above 13 or 14 degrees today. Hopeless. I hope the black paint hasn't washed off completely from the edging I did this morning. Painting inside instead
Memorials are sad aren't they - yet very compelling. We forget so easily GWRS.
I posted a pic of Alice bear a while ago. Can't find the pic on my pooter though. Her eyes broke a long time ago and I sewed buttons on, but then they made that creepy animation - Coraline
Think I may buy some proper eyes for her....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That's impressive GWRS, what a sad waste of life war is.
I never had a teddy bear. But I do have one of those yellow mixing bowls. MIL was horrified I didn't have one when I was a newly wed so she rushed off and bought one for me in Woolies.
Must go and see if I can find Dove's Norfolk thread.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hosta, it's probably been killed by a cat - they'll kill them but apparently they taste foul - our cats used to bring moles through the cat flap into the porch and just leave them there.
Dove, there is a programme tonight, 7.30, about a Norfolk boy who is a brilliant artist of Norfolk scenes, 14 yrs, Kieran Williamson. BBC East. We saw some of his paintings in a gallery in Holt.

Impressive memorial GWRS
I was numbed when I saw the number of names on the Menin Gate in Ypres.
It's going to be a case of battening down the hatches here tonight. The wind is strengthening and the trees are being battered

The down side of all this weight loss is I've just had to buy 3 new pairs of shorts for winter hols.
I hate shopping for clothes. Next sale online to the rescue.
This afternoon, I found a dead mole on the grass. This is the second one I've found on the surface this summer.
Is this odd?
Did something dig it up, kill it but not eat it, or do they come to the surface to pop their worm munching clogs?
Nor me RB but I have two now
Our milk bottles has to be returned or you got charged for them

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Wasn't it a bit tricky to cuddle up to in bed ?

My mum had one of the brown Mason Cash ones but I think my sister took it. Wonder if she lost that as well as my mum's engagement ring....
I'm cooking sausage casserole. That's a winter meal. What's that about?
Can someone turn the tap off now...please
