No damage with the weather here - wet, wild and windy, but no worse than the usual autumnal stuff. Further north was bearing the brunt.

Lovely pic chicky. Glad you had a lovley time and the weather to enjoy it all. Know what you mean about the pix being in your head. I look at my hill ones and I can remember the day and the 'feel' of it. Hard to get that in a hard copy of a view of any kind.

Nearly the weekend - hurray. Better get ready for work though. Bulbs being delivered today - just need some suitable weather to plant them!

Have a good  day everyone image

Is Pat about?  There's a chap posted with a plant ID query here  http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/plants/what-is-this-plant-type/988432.html

it looks vaguely familiar, but I can't put a name to it and now we've discovered he's in Australia - looks like Pat's department image

    Morning all.

Will carry on potting and planting my new spring bedding plug plants. Hadn't realised what a mess the GH and cold frames had got into. There was a large chest high weed with fluffy seeds growing in one of the cold frames. I expect they will be smothered with that weed next year.imageimage

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
