New haircut sounds just the ticket DD Glad you had a good time chatting to friends yesterday. Invest in a good book for all those spare moments on your own....indulge in some luxury me-time
Later start for me today - we're not busy at the moment and littlest chicklet needs a lift to work (which is on my way).
Ordered two T&M limelight hydrangeas on one of their special offers ....they arrived yesterday in boxes the size of small wardrobes. Beautiful plants, about 3 ft tall. Sometimes T&M can be a bit risky, but this time they have excelled .....and at bargain bucket prices too
Morning everyone. It's getting on for dinner time and Hubby has started fiddling in the kitchen , so maybe I can just sit here and pretend I can't hear what's going on. chicken tonight!
DD sounds like a new you is emerging, haircut sounds a perfect statement. Enjoy your weekend with Charlie
Hosta hope you got back to sleep, I an definitely not sleeping so well as I did last week on the east coast by the sea!! Think I may have to move!

Morning all. Bright and sunny here and fresh so far. Lovely day for moving more of Possum's stuff to Namur! Our grass is green in parts but mostly looking quite brown. It'll recover after a wee bit of rain though - when we get some.
Dove - Aidan who?
DD - enjoy your weekend with Charlie and your free time to yourself too.
Bon appetit Pat E. Hope he hasn't burned it.
Hosta - lovely to have hedgepigs. Look after them. Maybe make them winter nesting boxes near your hostas so they can eat slugs for you?
Anyone got plans for the weekend?

Nick Skelton's going to be on the BBC breakfast programme in a few mins Dove. I have to go to work though.
I bought half a dozen packets of seed last night chicky. Mostly new ones to me, and perennials too. I fear it may be a slippery slope....
Better go - catch you all later

Got another 2 hours sleep, think that made 4 1/2.
Light drizzle here this morning and the lovely tree surgeon has just dropped off a load of chippings
Just as well I got another 10 " dumpy sacks" from the builders' merchant on Wednesday. Flippin' 'eck but I'm a shameless freeloader.
Weekend just around the corner folks.
I can smell curried chicken. Hmmm. Yum.

Was supposed to be sunny today, but it is hoeing down.
Much joy in the doc. household last night. OH did not know I was booking holiday, so many brownie points for me.
