Oh Pat! ((hugs)) what a night you and your hub have had ((hugs)) glad you're ok now.
I've been busy and the last two batches of grape jelly have been made, jarred and labelled. Piccalilli, spiced plums and honeyed pickled onions are next on the list.
Since then I've been out in the garden picking squashes and beans, and now I shall slice potatoes for a dauphinoise and put a small piece of lamb shoulder to roast gently, stuck with anchovies and garlic and wrapped in foil.
Then I shall finish sewing up Wonky's new jumper ... got to keep her back warm
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
A scary night Pat. It's reassuring for you and family, that you were checked over at the hospital.
Take things easy for while.
It will be interesting to see if the wood burner is a contributory factor to the shortness of breath. The sooner the weather warms up for you the better.
You've been lucky Joyce. The only dry bit of the day here was when I was out with fairylet. It's been heavy showers since, so I've been painting indoors.
Hope Pat is ok - that's not a great time she's had
Fairylet treated me to lunch and we had a lovely time discussing this and that.
Lesley - not a wimp at all. I wondered where you were, but I thought you'd gone sarf and I'dmissed you saying. Hope you're feeling ok now
Hope the back is getting better Wonks. It's very frustrating.
Feet up for me now too - with a cuppa
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We had some rain! Lasted about 5 mins and just wet the car windscreen enough to make muddy streaks in all the dust from harvesting. Keep on sprinkling then.
Pat - I do hope you get a better sleep tonight and that your GP can sort you out so you have fewer side effects.
FG - lunch sounds good. Great to chat.
I have run out of cartons for packing. Chappy and team &re coming at 7:30! best get an early night then.
Sweet dreams all.

Pat, does your wood burner have a chimney and has it been swept so the air flow is good?
Double decker advert is the wrong way round. Boy with girl in front of him and he is thinking of chocolate? I know what most boys that age would be thinking, and which part would be doing the thinking. Girl with boy in front acting gaga, and girl thinking she'd rather have a choc bar... much more likely.

Home from the coal face. Nice day today. Had some showers , but I was driving, not actually delivering during them. Lovely sunny afternoon now.
Load of washing gone on.
Cuppa then I think I'll head to the tunnels.
Take care Pat.
Apart from a heavy shower at 4pm it's been a lovely day.
Got some pruning done and more cutting back in the morning.
This afternoon, I took a leaf out of obelixx's book and did a lot of clearing. . . . bin; recycling bin and bag for charity so feeling quite chuffed.
Good evening , lovely day , spent at allotment, very pleased with what I got done
Just having a beer or 2 before Doherty and dinner
