    Threatening clouds Pat..

A friend (same age as you) was having problem similar to you and also felt her blood pressure pills weren't suiting her. . . . she felt her GP wasn't listening  to her. Anyway, when her GP was on holiday, she saw a different one in the practice. He listened, changed medication and she is fine now. She now sees that GP.

  • Sorry to read your post re doctor Pat, (looks like we posted at the same time), very disappointing for you, sometimes the 'experts' do think they know better when actually it is your body and you know exactly how it feels. image

DD, aren't things coming together for you ? I'm so pleased for you. x

Pat, keep your chin up Poppet and don't give into them. They're paid to do their job you know, they're not doing you a favour. Keep at them.

Raining here this morning so I think the tomatoes might get the chop and sundried other duties.

Yes. I'm rather disappointed in her reaction. I was sort of warned off from wasting the time of the people in Cas. The fact is that my heart is good, my lungs have been tested as apprroate for my age, blood tests all ok. So I should ignore other symptoms ???. Not sure what to think, but it's best not to feel resentful. All the health type information says you shouldn't ignore warnings or symptoms, so how do I know when it's appropriate to ask for help in Cas?

When I apologised to the nurse who was removing the stent from my arm, he said not to worry it's best to check, because the one time you don't come in, something will surely happen. It's all beyond me. I'll just react the best way I can.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all,

Sorry to hear about your health issues Pat.  Don't worry about visiting Casualty.  Any shortness of breath and chest pain shouldn't be ignored.

Glad the back is easing up Wonky.

Well, what a weekend.  We are in the process of changing ownership of a house left to hubby by his parents and needed the deeds and probate information.  I keep all paperwork in the same place, although I admit it's not sorted out as often as it should be.  We went through all the folders and couldn't find the one we needed.  In fact we went through them all at least 3 times, took all saturday and we ended up with piles and piles of paper that needed to be destroyed.  Still no deeds.

During saturday I had made lots of suggestions as to places hubby could check while I looked elsewhere, we even went down the cellar!!  Finally after continuing the search for most of yesterday we resigned ourselves to having to find out how we could get round the situation.

I then double checked with hubby to see if he had looked where I had suggested, such as 'Did he take the drawers out to check if anything had slipped down the back'.  His answer was 'Oh no I didn't do that'.image

Yes, you're right.  The folder was there.  Two b***dy days of searching and worrying.  I could kill him, and did he say sorry, like hell he did.  (why isn't there a smiley with steam coming out of its ears)

Consequently a very wasted weekend.  Although I do now have very tidy drawers and nicely filed paperworkimage

On a positive note my bulbs arrived this morningimage although it's much too wet to plant anythingimage

Afties all - nice pic Pat - if a bit of a moody sky image

I'll have to read back in a minute - no t'interweb this morning as it was 'updating'. 'It' clearly went to bed last night after it said it was doing that last night and I left it on....image

Cold here this morning - 8 when I went to work. Lots of condensation. On the plus side, my paint seems to have covered the water damage on the kitchen ceiling - thankfully. image

I'll go and catch up with all your doings. Think Yvie might need a lie down in a darkened room....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Morning everyone, evening Pat, image Pat, trust your own instincts, if something doesn't feel right, you should know, don't ever feel like your making a fuss, its always best to check image

Yvie....well, what can we say!?! image the smiley doesn't go far enough! If you want a job done properly.....image

Fairy, I've been taking it easy, honestly! Even though most of the plants in my garden have moved image must have been the fairies image although I'm sure they did it on their knees with a straight back! image

DD, it looks like your friends aren't going to let you feel lonely, good for them! image

I was a bit of a womble yesterday.....

Walking down a small side street back from the shop, I found a broken chair back, I thought....that's quite sweet....and walked home. I got in my gate and my potted rose was getting blown all over the place and looked badly in need of some support....image I turned round and fetched the chair back and hey presto! My rose has support! image
