The porridge will keep you warm Aym. Hellebore is a lovely colour. In spite of your present cold weather, yours are way ahead of mine.
The only plant buying I'm doing is a few bedding plants for some pots later in the year. Last autumn I bought a lot of bulbs and perrenials. Some of the perrenials have yet to be planted out!!
Aym, It's much milder up north, no frost for quite a while now. I did a lot of weeding yesterday and the soil was lovely. Did notice that the s and s had been on one of my pots of alstro though so put a few slug pellets round it. I should buy some copper collars or tape for them and the hostas.
