Thanks for the confirmation runnybeak, when nobody else remembered the original discussion I was starting to wonder if I imagined the whole thing .
It's a packet of seed I've bought and can't even begin to pronounce the proper name so will stick with night phlox or another I saw online whilst looking up how easy it is to grow "midnight candy". Apparently it has a very heady scent in the evening, vanilla and honey. YUM
Wakeshine: Wow, you have so many photos of beautiful flowers from your garden you could make a calendar. The orange gazania is a super colour.
Very clever the way you have displayed them. I just point, click and post
Verdon yes spot on first year been out all spring summer will overwinter inside garage seems to like to be watered regular I like the look of them and thought I would give them a try time will tell?
Zenfeff, is that lobelia Queen Victoria. If so, do you need to keep it wet? I am growing some from seed at the moment and I don't really have anywhere boggy to put it next year if it needs it.
The lobelia is Black. Truffle its planted in the wettest part of the garden not far from the pond constantly wet as we get lots. Of rain here in the NE

OK thanks Zenjeff, and apologies for calling you Zenfeff.
Zenjeff, what's the first flower, the lilac petals with dark purple centre?
