  • Aym, those are fab flowers you have - I love the double purple osteospermum. Everyone here has such wonderful flowers. I don't think the party is over yet Aym - In my garden the party seems to be just starting.

Here are some lilies which just opened a few days ago.Oriental-Asiatic hybrid lily, 'Kaveri':

It's amazing there are 8 or more buds on each plant....and a white one which came by mistake in another set. I think this could be 'Casa Blanca', but then there are so many pure white lilies, I am not sure:

My first ever rudbeckia opened a couple of day ago - need to take a photo. What to do about plants which haven't flowered? I'm still waiting for a burgundy lily, Mambo to open. It has buds. Still quite a few dahlias still to bloom. Not sure why they are so late. Also waiting for some roselillies which have buds but still haven't opened, clematis which have buds, and Eucomis Sparkling Burgundy stalks which are coming up very slowly and no flowers yet. Not sure what will happen with all these? The weather has turned cold where I am and I do wonder will all these unopened flowers open or not, are they just late, will the cold prevent them? No greenhouse for me. Anyone else have flowers which are still trying to open?

  • Yes, your lily pictures are beautiful wakeshine - stunning. You are lucky to have so much flowering now - most of our lilies apart from the Nerines finished months ago. I love close-up pictures too - you see the detail that most photos don't include.

    Thanks aym280.

I've spent a lot more time this year. The last few years I've been doing a lot of zumba but it doesn't make me lose more weight if I wasn't doing it,so I thought I'd spend more time on the garden instead,i've still lost the weight. But come Christmas and put it back on again then I'd lose it again.image

Aym - forget the deviance and stick to your obsession with streps and plantsimage
