Thank you for admiring my rudbeckias, GD. I water them every other day, a very good soak. It's been hot here sometimes in the early 30s.

AYM, what sort of White Swan is it? I only know anemone White Swan and it isn't that.

Crikey, that's some Cosmos! Why are mine so pathetic?

Echinaceas don't like my garden, nor does Anemone Wild Swan image Well done for the White Swan.

I have rudbeckias, heleniums, salvias, phlox, penstemens, phygelius, hardy geraniums, dahlias, fuschias, echinops ritro, and can't remember what else, out at the moment, various different sorts. And annuals and roses.

  • You aren't the only one aym - I too get confused with them all - however I have grown Redbeckias and one echinacea this year and love them both but still get confused with the heleniums though.

  • Beautiful flowers aym. Particularly interested in the carrot flowers as they grow wild over here, especially on the sandy common land near the beaches. Can you tell me the name of the geum please? I have just grown my first echinacea from seed, only one or two germinated from approx. 20 seeds, but the flower is lovely and always has at least one bee on it.

  • imageimage Both pictures are the same flower, pictures taken about a week apart - it is Echinacea Pink Parasol. Very pleased with it, and so are the bees!
