"Aster F.Monch, berberis Atropur nana plus phormium Cream Delight." great mixed border, Verdun!
Lots of colourful flowers, aym280. I especially liked your cyclamen, both flowers and leaves. Any idea what species & cultivar it is?
Here is my small contribution of the day.
Geranium x oxonianum 'Orkney Cherry'. An incredible amount of flowers, continuously since I planted 4 specimens at the beginning of May this year. I thoroughly recommend this geranium!
Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard', a true butterfly magnet at this time of year!
Symphyotrichum x 'Vasterival' just starting to flower (detail). Extremely vigorous, lots of small flowers.
Fabulous butterfly shots aym280. I have not seen a single butterfly or moth on my plants this year but I know they have been around as there have been a ton of catterpillars. I like the seed mistake cosmos, looks like some I saw the other day, I think they were called Sea Shells, pretty how the petals are shaped. Not had time to take any pics lately it has been hectic, I have enjoyed catching up with the thread before I head off to bed.
Those are cracking Dahlia giddy123, especialy like the hot pink one

@aym280,
Actually, Symphyotrichum is the new name of most of the Aster species. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphyotrichum_novae-angliae
Nope, aym280, most Aster/Symphyotrichum are Herbaceous Perennial plants.
Nice exotic butterflies, not the kind you would find fluttering about our gardens!

Another common butterfly on my Aster / Symphyotrichum x 'Vasterival' (the cabbage butterfly).
And my bunch of Aster / Symphyotrichum novi-belgii 'Marie Ballard' hiding behind my exuberant Gaura / Oenothera lindheimeri 'Rosyjane'.
Thanks bloodrose - some more of my Dahlias
